Welcome to Troova. These terms govern your use of the Troova platform, including our website, services, and all related features. By accessing or using Troova, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Troova in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Troova. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
2. Your Account
When you create an account on Troova, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don't share your password with anyone else.
- Each person may only have one account.
- You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@troova.com.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, post harmful content, or engage in abusive behavior.
3. Your Content
You own the content you create on Troova, including your reviews, photos, and posts. By posting content on the platform, you grant Troova a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content as part of the platform's normal operation.
- Reviews and ratings are publicly visible to all users.
- Reviews expire and are automatically removed after 365 days from the date they were posted.
- We may remove content that violates our community guidelines, including fake reviews, spam, harassment, or illegal content.
- You can delete your own content at any time through your account settings.
4. Business Listings
Troova is a platform for discovering and reviewing local businesses. Here's how business listings work:
- Business owners can claim their listing on Troova for free. There are no paid tiers or hidden fees.
- Claims require verification to confirm you are the actual owner or authorized representative of the business.
- Business owners can respond to reviews publicly, but they cannot remove or edit customer reviews.
- Business information should be accurate and up to date. We reserve the right to update or correct business details if they're misleading.
5. Prohibited Conduct
To keep Troova a trustworthy and helpful platform for everyone, the following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Fake reviews or sock puppet accounts. Don't create fake accounts to post reviews for your own business or to undermine competitors.
- Harassment, hate speech, or threats. Treat everyone with respect. Personal attacks, discriminatory language, and threats of violence will result in immediate account suspension.
- Spam or commercial solicitation. Don't use reviews or posts to advertise unrelated products or services.
- Impersonation. Don't pretend to be someone you're not, whether that's another person, a business owner, or a Troova staff member.
- Rating manipulation. Don't attempt to artificially inflate or deflate business ratings through coordinated reviews, vote manipulation, or any other means.
6. Intellectual Property
The Troova name, logo, design, and all original content created by Troova are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without written permission.
- Your content (reviews, photos, posts) remains yours. We don't claim ownership of anything you create.
- Don't scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform without our explicit permission.
- If you believe someone has infringed on your intellectual property on Troova, contact us at support@troova.com and we'll investigate promptly.
7. Disclaimers
Troova is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep the platform running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will be available 100% of the time.
- We don't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-generated content, including reviews and business information.
- We're not responsible for the quality of goods or services provided by businesses listed on the platform.
- We're not responsible for interactions between users and businesses that happen outside of Troova.
- Reviews represent the opinions of individual users and do not represent the views of Troova.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Troova and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes (but isn't limited to) loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim related to the platform will not exceed the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Since Troova is free to use, this generally means our liability is limited to zero.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- For significant changes, we'll notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the platform.
- Your continued use of Troova after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
- If you disagree with any changes, you can stop using Troova and delete your account at any time through your account settings.
